We all know what goes into our body majorly reflects what’s going on outside on the surface of our body. So I have been creating ways to optimize health while still getting my festive drink on. Sorry Unicorn Frap…I will be trying something different this year!

Some of you may know, but I suffered so many small issues after having children. I indulged in cravings and lacked sleep, so I was left with hormonal imbalances (some natural), digestive issues, migraines and suffering from dizzy spells.

As someone who always cared so much about health, I knew the culprit to my issues. I was not doing enough to keep my body hydrated properly and nurished during this major change in my life. I still have some issues but taking a major step back into healthy lifestyle has helped so much!

So I am trying to share my ways that I started making small changes to cut back on sugars & toxic products and take back my health.

These drinks are cute & fun as much as they are healthy. And the best part, easy to make!! So make these to feel good from the inside out. Your skin and hair will be thanking you later! Not to mention how energized you will feel!

These ingredients are packed with vitamins and nutrients we all need!

  • Coconut Water With A Twist

  • 8-12 oz of coconut water
  • 1/4 tsp Spirulina
  • 1/4 lemon
  • Mint leaves

Mix the Spirulina with the coconut water until it has completely dissolved. Then add fresh mint leaves and a squirt of lemon juice.

Drink this natural vitamin water for intense hydration. Ditch the Powerade & Vitamin Waters. This will have your skin absolutely glowing and keep you cool!  Follow the serving instructions on the Spirulina..as it is a powerful algae know as the most nutrient dense food.

  • Creamy Coconut Matcha Latte

  • 8-12 oz coconut milk
  • 1 tsp Matcha Powder
  • 1 tbsp local honey

Blend or mix ingredients until the powder has dissolved. And you’ll be sipping down some delicious antioxidants that will keep you slim & focused!

Matcha has so many wonderful healing benefits like anti-aging, metabolism booster & promotes relaxation. Who needs an afternoon pick me up?!

  • Lemon Water or Canarino

  • 1- 1/2 Lemon
  • Water

Heat about 1 cup of water with desired method then add lemon juice directly to it. **Add honey if needed.
For the Italian method known as Canarino (Italian word meaning “canary” -which is appropriate for this yellow drink) bring a cup of water to boil and add only the peel of the lemon. Use a knife or a peeler to do so. Once the water has absorbed the lemon peel and turned yellow, remove from flame & then remove the peel. Enjoy!

So this isn’t a magical drink as far as ingredients goes but it’s simple and effective. Having a cup of warm/room temperature water with lemon in the morning helps digestion, promotes energy & Collagen production. It’s a simple way to get vitamin C and give your body water first thing in the morning. I feel so refreshed after this.

Drink it cold and on the go for some extra vitamin C!

So there…Three healthy drinks to keep you going during this heat and help us take once step closer to a beautiful mind & body!
